Description

I got bored today and started fiddling around in AI.
This is the result.
It took around 5 hours or so, lost count.
And no, I don't plan on making this kind of art on a regular.
Any form of criticism is welcomed. I really need to start getting back into human drawings again.

Shit, nigga, I forgot you could even draw humans.
Vision: I don't think you really had one with this piece, if you did, fuck if I see it. Looks like a goddamn fairy, doesn't look like you intended anything special by it. Not necessary to have one, but it doesn't look like you did, so I ain't rating something high that doesn't warrant it.

Originality: Well, at least it's not a goddamn pony or fanart or some shit, but it's still not particularly interesting or unique, just a fairy with no real context. Not the most original thing to draw.

Technique: Pretty good, given I can only, upon thinking back, remember one or two human drawings of yours, both male (and fuck, I think that was about a year and a half ago? A while back, for sure). Hips/waist are a bit off, the waist is too narrow compared to her hips. Her feet are disproportionately small compared to the thighs in terms of size. Pose looks uncomfortable, but not impossible, I've seen women in it, so I know it's doable; lowering the knees a bit and bringing them closer together might make it look more natural, though. The breasts are a bit off when compared to each other, her left (our right) breast is higher up and off-center compared to the right; also, though I understand it's intentionally stylistically simple, only showing the areola looks weird, a semi-circle to show a hint at the nipple itself would make it look less awkward. The hair itself looks passable, though under-detailed (compared to the rest of the piece), the bit around her hand looks awkward, though; drawing a few more lines in the section to the right (from our perspective) of her right forearm would make her hair look more like hair, it looks unfinished as-is. Her torso looks wrong, the lower half is rotated to face the viewer by too much compared to her upper body. The entire piece feels as though it's filling a gap between detailed and undetailed, the mixture of style is discomfiting. The slight lines on her body serve good for providing structure to her, but there aren't enough to truly show detail. As it is, I think they would be better done without, stylistic simplicity is better in my eyes than a failed attempt at detail.

That said, her neck, collar bone, vagina and wings are all done beautifully, hitting that sweet spot of detail that's perfect for the piece. The wings show much more detail than the rest of the image, but that's perfect for making it the focus of the piece, which I feel it should be, given it's what makes this model stand out as unique. I also like the lack of inner linework on her lower hair (by her hips, over her thigh). It lends it a slightly "thinner" look, which compliments the piece. Very pretty.

Impact: I'm... Not really getting much from this piece. Is it supposed to be erotic? Pretty? Evoking of thought, emotion, feeling? Lust? Fuck if I know, but I'm not feeling much regardless. It's a pretty figure drawing, but it doesn't really give me any strong feelings one way or the other. It's just... A drawing. A not-very-terrible one.
Apparently I'm doing Critiques again. That was a long break.
